In another inspired collaboration, the formidable creative talents of the UK’s hottest, most in-demand drummer, Sebastian Rochford, and acclaimed Acoustic Ladyland frontman, Pete Wareham came together for the punky, funky melodic music of Fulborn Teversham. Propelled by Alice Grant’s deadpan, in-yer-face vocals and Nick Ramm’s cosmic electronica they performed an eclectic mix of acoustic jazz, alt rock, prog punk and other musical brilliance.
Press reviews from Fulborn Teversham's 2007 Cheltenham Jazz Festival concert
"Jerwood has transferred its attention to bringing back some of its former artists in new settings. This was brilliantly successful in the edgy, punky set from the drummer Sebastian Rochford with his band Fulborn Teversham, whose highlight was Alice Grant's heartrending account of Rochford's 'I Think I'm Falling Down'."
The Times
"Sebastian Rochford's Fulborn Teversham... gave us a welcome blast of rude energy."
Daily Telegraph
"Adventurous. Cacophonous. Boisterous. I could go on. Fulborn Teversham tick them all, and this performance at the Everyman Theatre was a rollercoaster that few of us there will forget."
Gloucestershire Echo
"[Seb's] playing today was as brilliant as ever and everything he gets involved with has an air of quality and excitement about it. He is one of the country's most prodigious musical talents - and you don't often say that about a drummer!"

What makes Sebastian Rochford part of our Jerwood Jazz Generation
“Seb has been a kind of artist-, drummer-, and groover-in-residence at Cheltenham Jazz Festival since I became Artistic Director, appearing twice with Polar Bear and lots of other bands. So when he talked to me about his new music with alt rock group Fulborn Teversham, I immediately invited him to bring that project to Cheltenham.”
